Step 1: Install and onboard

Make sure Node.js is installed, then in a terminal:

  1. Install globally:
npm install -g openclaw@latest
json
  1. Run onboarding (follow the prompts):
openclaw onboard

Step 2: Edit main config clawdbot.json

Open: C:\Users\admin\.openclaw\openclaw.json Update the models and auth sections as below to use a custom relay.

Step 3: Configure auth file auth-profiles.json

Open: C:\Users\admin\.openclaw\agents\main\agent\auth-profiles.json Put the real API keys from your relay here.

Step 4: Check and start

  1. Start the Gateway:
openclaw gateway --port 18789

  1. Open the console: Visit http://127.0.0.1:18789/
