Problems with facebook

On Facebook you also can make applications (-> apps). If you want your wordpress postings automatically shown on your facebook site, you have to install an wp plugin, which requires the facebook apps. But setting up the fb apps, causes for many users problems

xxx is "not a valid domain" or "the URL is not valid"

This errors you usually get when setting up the core settings (Site URL and Site Domain). Honestly it is hard to understand whatthey ask for and how to do. Once you know, you will say "oh, so easy...". Here comes the solution how to fill out:

It should be like this:

site url: http://www.yourdomain.com/
and
site domain: yourdomain.com

Pay also attention to the "/" at the end of site url and site domain. Set them like shown above (nothing behind the site domain!).
